manga or anime, wich one do you like better?

I am curious to know wich one people like better, I myself find reading mangas more fun. I think that most of the pleasure is wasted in anime... but hey thats only my opinon, so give me yours too!!

To be honest, I couldn't easily decide between the two. if there was a "both" option, I'd pick that. In the end, I chose reading manga because I always find manga better than their anime versions. But I do like watching anime, as long as they're good. One example is "12 Kingdoms" which is based on a novel! Anyway, long live manga and anime!!!

Well, I like to watch anime, specially the anime like "Wonderful Days", "Appleseed", "Vampire Hunter D" and so on...., I would never read manga based on that stories, but to watch anime was great!
BUT!
I prefer manga better, because I have good imagination and when I read manga it is so real for me, that after that I don't really remember, do I watch it or read it. Hehe And there is one more thing, manga always show more passion, most of the time it is deeper then anime and I like to feel the story and to feel characters and it is not always available in anime.

They both have their pros and cons, but generally I'd say I like the manga better. There's usually more room to put in detail, and develop the plot and characters more. But in action mangas, with fighting, it's kind of better to have it animated.

Hmm.
It really matters.
I mean, I usually read reviews about the manga [That also has an anime] to see what people said, if the manga or the anime is better. And I usually do what they find is better and if lets say I picked to watch the anime and I end up not liking it, I'll switch to the manga and vice versa.
But usually I'll read manga.
Downloading manga takes a long time, but waiting for the anime to load also takes a long time.
I don't know. For some reason I just like manga better. I can't really explain it. XD

i like more manga than anime, i find it more enjoyable. But i think that it depends if you have read the manga before watching the anime.

I prefer mangas than animes and it is for the same reason I prefer books than movies (when movies come from a book naturally). I think that you have more time and you can enjoy more freely the story when you read. In an anime as in a movie your brain is not as active as it is when you read. You also have more details in mangas and often the story is more coherent. Moreover I do not like when the story is modified just because of commercial reasons. Anyway animes are also wonderful and an art in its own right. So I definitely prefer mangas but I do like anime as well.

usually manga!! cause they're usually the origenal...but i'd like the anime better if that was the origenal and the manga was writen based off of it...since origenal are better cause usually when a manga turns into anime lots of stuff are changed...

I like both but if i had to pick i would probably choose manga since anime is like the shorten version of the manga so some of the things we see in manga is edited out in the anime so sometimes the outcome is different

like in Fruits Basket the manga is like 23 volumes and shows the complete ending and what happens to all the animals while the anime stops a little after Toru's trip to the main house

I do like mangas better, cause the drawing is better in most cases and often the story is better too, since in animes it is rearragend for kids, for example in Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, although I think thestory in the mangas could have been used to for kids.
But I also like some animes, it is fun to watch how they put life into the character of a manga

Usually I like the manga better but sometimes the anime is just as good or even better. So it depends.

i like manga better because not all manga that i like are animes and i love how manga is drawn compared to anime
but anime is good as well
