What Genre is more Interesting?, Vote what type and explain why

When I was younger I liked more Shounen Anime...maybe cause I'm was a kid
Well now...when I'm older I think I like between Shoujo and Adventures.
I dont like those "plain" romance..the more sophisticated and intresting ones
when you cant really know what will happen...
also I like philosophical anime and mangas that make you wonder about things like life and DEEP things..woo really deepXD
those that leave a red button on you....um...like Kino's Journey if anyone saw it^_^

Im the same as you Sarako. When I was young I liked shounen [Dragonball, Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh etcc]
But now Im into shoujo.
I still watch/read shounen series like Bleach, Death Note, and Naruto but shoujo is probably my favorite genre of manga.
And you can't forget comedy. XD

I think I always prefer "Comedy",
but it is depend on my mood, I love "slice of life" and shonen,
I agree with Sarako - chan, I don't like "plain" romance either,
but to think about it more deeply, I like any of all styles as long they have interesting plot.

So long as its not ultrally dramatic, sappy, and mind-numbing, then romance. I also like adventure and comedy (but who dosen't)

Now I like more shoujo, romance and stuff.. But there has to be humor too... cos if it's just '' I love you '' and ''I love you too'' stuff then it's not so intereting read/watch...


@ Sarako : Oh! I know the moomins (They have dubbed it in finnish in here ^^) Everybody loves moomins in here (well when you are young but olders like it too like my cousin who is now 30 years) and here I mean Finland... ^^ The moomins author was finnish-sweadish so it's really popular in here ^^

Romance, haha. I'm a complete sucker for fluffy scenes and kisses and such. No smut for me though. Not too fond of it. But if the romance is "cheap" like MiakaxTamahome.. it's a no-no then. x: I don't go for easy romances.

I wasn't annoyed actually, I was just curious. I thought you are around this age. Well, it normal to say that.
And about all this *annoying* stuff, it is your point of view and it is your opinion, so I just respect it.

I actually like Shounen when I was younger, now I'm interested in shoujo.. but not too 'shoujo' Overall, I just LOVE comedy!! I always liked something like Ranma 1/2 (comedy, abit romance, abit shounen) and Ouran. I kinda like those silly things.. Slice of life is not bad either.. but it depends on my mood =\

My preference for anime is a bit different from manga.

While I enjoy reading Shoujo manga, I prefer to watch anime like Naruto or Bleach.

umm... i really like the combination of shoujo, comedy, and adventure!
